A grand launch was held for the 'Toofan 2.0' project, implemented jointly by the Local Self-Government Department, Police, and Excise Departments in Tanur Municipality, aimed at achieving a drug-free Tanur. Massive participation was witnessed at the ceremony held in the Municipality Meeting Hall, including people's representatives, social workers, and Students

After watching the state-level inauguration online, the official Municipality-level ceremonies commenced in the presence of the Municipal Chairperson, Secretary, and other representatives. The events began with the hoisting of the Toofan flag. Subsequently, an anti-drug pledge was administered, empowering everyone to participate in the fight against drugs. 'Toofan Warrior' badges were also distributed to selected representatives during the event.

A 'Safai Mitra Suraksha Evam Samman Shivir' is being organized. This event, jointly hosted by the Tanur Municipality and the CHC, includes a medical camp and an awareness session. We look forward to everyone's cooperation and participation in this initiative aimed at ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of sanitation workers.
